Foodie Friday - Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant @ Tampines 1

We passed by this restaurant a few times but never get the chance to go due to the long queue during mealtimes. We were there slightly earlier than dinner time & decided to try our luck to see if we could avoid the queue to get in faster. Overall, the meal was so-so but the prices were reasonable.

While waiting for our food, there was a small incident happened that day. The service staff held the baby chair too high up & broke one of the lighting's cover (made of glass). Part of the cover just broke & shattered onto the floor. I was glad that YS was not injured as he was sitting almost directly below those lightings.

Here's what we ordered:
Honey Lemon Ai-Yu Jelly Ice - a very cool & refreshing drink on a hot day.

Baked Spaghetti with Chicken Twin Sauce
I shared this dish with YQ. The cheesy plus the sweet & sour taste made a perfect combination to the taste bud. 

Baked Rice with Chicken Chop
YS ordered this dish & he managed to finish all. 
Our little boy who only know how to appreciate garlic bread :P

    thank goodness he wasn't hurt! I tried the food at the Vivo outlet before.. nothing too fantastic but decent prices :)

    oh Tampines! That's far... haha, my last visit was nearly 4 years ago... i will only order their beef spaghetti whenever i hit Kim Gary... nothing too special to shout over for other dishes...
