We had an early celebration for YQ a few days ago during our staycation at RWS since I know I will be busy with work on her birthday. She is no longer the little girl who prefers cartoon cake and I'm surprised she requested cupcakes as her birthday cake (I think she is just like me, cupcake lovers..lols!). Hb managed to get some nice cupcakes from Twelve Cupcakes (which is one of my favourite place to buy cupcakes) and we held a simple celebration for her. No fancy celebration at restaurant, just a small celebration in the hotel room.
Dear daughter,
Mommy knows that you have always been the sensible girl in the family.
You have given me 8 wonderful years of joy and many more years to come too.
Sometimes you surprised me with your reasoning to your little brother and I can see that you have grown up and matured in many ways.
I hope you will grow up to be that strong and kind hearted girl you have always been.
Don't worry about those nasty people who treat you badly because Mommy will always be by your side to protect you.
