Staycation is over?

Hb received complimentary 3 days 2 nights hotel stay at Hotel Michael and we decided to surprise the kids for a staycation during the June school holiday. It is also to make up to them as we did not bring them for any overseas trip for the past 3 years.

We started our day bright and early at the Underwater World Singapore (a media invite). After spending a few hours there, we checked into our room. It was our family's first ever staycation in Singapore (yah...we are so suaku right?). The room was big and spacious. Restaurants and Universal Studio was also nearby the hotel. We did not swim at the hotel swimming pool (even though I brought along all our swimsuits) because the pool was quite small and crowded due to holiday peak season.

We decided to make use of the time to venture around the island like tourists. It wasn't a very relaxing holiday because hb was busy with his work. Yup, he brought his work to do in the hotel room =_=

On the 2nd day, I was left alone with the 3 kids and since I promised them that we would visit the USS this time round. We woke up early to have our breakfast and purchased 6 months passes from USS. They were soooooo....HAPPY! Hb joined us for dinner and bought cupcakes to celebrate for our beloved daughter.

As the saying goes, good times passed so quickly! Our staycation was over just like that.

YQ posed with one of my favourite tennis star! Oh my, did you see her muscles?

Pretending to be tourist and took picture with the merlion.

We tried Slappy Cakes and the kids had fun "drawing and doodling" on the hot pan.

We tried their buttermilk and chocolate pancake flavour.

First timer dunno what to draw...

A special birthday wish for YQ.

More creations from me.

All of them woke up bright & early on the 2nd day.

The day started bright and early at USS.

Yeah! We can come here as many times as we wanted to for next 6 months.

Posed with our favourite minion.

One of their favourite rides.

The older kids enjoyed this ride and many more....

Far Far Away....so far yet so near :P

They loved this ride too.

I survived the 8 hours alone with the kids at USS.
Although I'm quite tired but the smile on their faces is priceless.
