We kick-start our March school holiday with Disney on Ice. The children were anticipating to watch this show when they knew that one of their favourite Disney characters will be performing in one of the segments. It was truly a spectacular performance which I never would have expected it to be so different from the one we watched 2 years ago.
We reached Singapore Indoor Stadium half an hour before the show started. There were so many parents buying all sorts of Disney merchandise for their kids. Luckily my kids did not bug me to buy anything :P
As usual, we must take our mandatory shot with the grand stage.
The kids were on their best behavior that night and waited patiently for the show to start. We were seated quite near the stage and had a good eye view of the performance that night.
During the intermittent, the kids started to feel hungry and we bought 2 small boxes of popcorns to munch. We were a bit disappointed with the popcorns and were unable to finish it coz it was not crunchy at all (a bit lao hong), lol!
All I can say is this year, the show is FANTASTIC! Great ice-skating stunts by performers, the costumes are gorgeous, the stage effects are fantastic. I don't think I need to elaborate too much because you have to watch it to believe it!
Besides all the popular Disney princesses, the highlight of the show has got to be the Frozen princesses, Elsa and Anna. Olaf was very funny too! I could even hear some children singing along loudly when the "Frozen" song was playing.
Disney On Ice is performing in Singapore from 11th to 20th March 2016. Quickly book your tickets and catch the performance before the school holiday ends!
