Its a wrap for 2017...

Finally, I can declare that the whole PSLE journey is a wrap for now. I am NOT so keen to see it again in 2 years time when it will be my 2nd child's turn to take her examination. If you think it will be 2nd time easier to manage and know what to expect, then you are totally wrong. Every child is different and the issues faced by each child is not the same. When the time comes, I will have to start scratching my head and face the dreadful cycle again.

The past 12 months seemed to be flying faster than ever. Probably, all those chauffeuring duties, mummy duties on top of my full time job is making my days passed faster than ever. I think the biggest consolation from being so busy this entire year is to witness the eldest's big improvement in his studies.

From the initial panic mode during the first semester after seeing a sudden dropped in his Science result. His concerned form teacher quickly communicated with us to find ways to help him. We were worried too because Science was not his worst subject at all. On days when he had coaching lessons until 9.30pm, he never complaint about coming home late or feeling tired. He was very clear about his goal and was working hard to achieve it. We are truly blessed that all his hard work has paid off and he can move on to the next phase of his school life.

Year 2018 will be even busier for us with the eldest going to a different school. I am sure his schedule will be packed with studies, projects, CCA and all the school activities he has to participate. At the same time, I have to make sure the other 2 kids have to start focusing on their weaker subjects. School holiday is over and its back to reality again!
