Zespri Kiwi Challenge

When Zespri asked me to do the 14 days challenge, I was a bit hesitant because we seldom buy kiwifruit. Once in a while, I will grab some if I happened to see any Zespri Gold kiwifruits available in the supermarket. The children totally love it because it has a sweet tropical flavour.

When I received the Zespri Green Kiwifruits, my first thought was whether these kiwis will taste sour? That very night, I cut some for the family to eat & they told me that those kiwis were "SWEET"! *yums*

You will be surprised to know that kiwis can have so many benefits:
:: A natural source of fibre which aid in digestive system
:: Low in calories
:: High in Vitamin C
:: High in antioxidants
:: Relieve bloated feeling
:: Source of potassium
:: Source of folate
:: Low Glycemic Index (GI) 
::It has more nutrients as compared to other fruits.

14 days have passed & although we did not do integrate kiwis into our cooking but we tried to mix some kiwis in our cereals or smoothies. The fastest way was to eat the whole fruit & it was always good to obtain Vitamin C directly for our health benefits.

Occasionally I would add a kiwifruit together with the rest of the ingredients to make my smoothie drink for lunch.
